What exactly is gluten? It is a protein
complex usually found in food wheat, barley etc. It is the basic protein

protect one’s self from these grains. Not only one has to avoid these grains
but also the products made from them such as pasta, noodles, breads, cakes,
pies etc. many of these things can be substituted with gluten free foods
available in many markets.

With an immensely busy schedule one just
doesn’t have the time to cook raw meat. Thus almost everyone in the urban
civilization prefers processed meat. but if you have developed gluten
intolerance it is absolutely important to avoid eating this form of meat. This
precaution is necessary in order to avoid debilitating arthritis this is also a
symptom of gluten intolerance. Thus foods such as sausages, pepperoni, bologna,
salami and hotdogs must be eliminated from the diet.
Alcoholic
beverages
It is important to avoid alcoholic drinks
such as beer or malt. These drinks are made from grains and thus have gluten in
them. It is vital for anyone who has been recently diagnosed with gluten
intolerance to be careful when selecting an alcoholic beverage and avoid
whiskey, gin and some of the vodkas which contain grains such as barley or
wheat.
Deserts
and treats
Having gluten intolerance means that one
has to avoid eating anything that has flour in it. As flour one of the basic
ingredients in almost every desert be it cakes, soufflés or tarts it is
important to avoid eating these. Once you go to a restaurant be very careful
when you chose your dessert. Go for something such as a fruit cocktail or
anything that doesn’t have flour in it.
